Temporary Visa Options
Investor Retirement Visas
This is a temporary visa
that is valid for 4 years, after which, you are able to apply for a visa
for a further 4 years.
In order to apply for this visa, you must:

Be 55 or older;

Have no dependents, other
than your spouse;

Be sponsored by a State or
Territory government agency (please note: NSW and the ACT currently do
not sponsor Investor Retirees);

Be able to support
yourself – that is, you will need to meet the relevant financial
requirements for the grant of this visa. These depend on where you
want to settle in Australia; and

Meet relevant health and
character criteria.
Please be aware that this
visa allows you to work up to a maximum of 20 hours per week. However,
it does not entitle you to Medicare or social security benefits. You
will need to have private health insurance for the duration of your visa.
