Permanent Visa Options

Family / Child Visa

You can apply for a Child Visa if you are the natural, adopted or step-child of an Australian citizen/permanent resident or eligible New Zealand citizen. You must be under 25 years of age, and if you are over 18, you must be able to prove that you are dependent on your sponsoring parent.

If you are under 18 and are an orphan, you may be eligible for an Orphan Relative visa. You will need to be sponsored by an Australian citizen/permanent resident or eligible New Zealand citizen relative.

If you are under 18 and have been (or are being) adopted by an Australian citizen/permanent resident or eligible New Zealand citizen, you may be eligible for an Adoption Visa. Your adoption must generally be supported by the relevant State or Federal authorities.
